Cl&m&nt - that definitely comes under the heading of "too much information"

Bruce,
What on earth is that in the left hand bowl?
On second thoughts, don't tell me. I don't think we should know.

Whatever it is, it's something only a mother could eat. I never cared much for British cuisine.

BTW, I felt compelled to replace the hand on the shoulder. You'll have to imagine it in place - I'm saving reposting charges.

Great contributions, cannot comment on you all. Some make me laugh (I like that), some great and excellent. I hope I get one in later for work to do justice. Not sure.

Food:

Excuse me this is not meant to be a rant. I just get a little little bit annoyed when people can not see the good restaurants or my/our cooking from Britain and Ireland. You have to look around.

Hey be carefully to criticise British food, , (this is me living in Ireland!), there and here we can get great food, all the way from Asia to India and New Zealand, the gap is filled, and either way, after that what is wrong the humble potatoes, cabbage and lamb/pork or fresh Atlantic fish (the Spanish love it).For example:I had a great big squid yesterday from the Cork E Market, cooked a bit Chinese style, as I do, with Szechuan Peppercorns, cabbage, and garlic. (No chillies this time! : ) ) Wow!! You can not do that in many places??!! Healthy too I think. But when my friends come for Christmas Breakfast, (But) I give 8-9 courses from black pudding, beans and Chinese cucumber and mushrooms.

Near Kinsale where I live, its the cuisine centre of Ireland. Bit to expensive for me most of the time, and maybe Dublin will dispute.

Noisy again. Welcome to ignore, Trevor

Lets not never too agressive again. We all fail and get upset by that. We are all come from different backgrounds, states of minds and concernces.

Its just an expression - it means that you are showing me more than I wish to see

Only kidding though - its a very imaginative interpretation

Lunch is over, and Steve's mum is pleased with the framed photo he had done for her.

Gordon and Trevor,
I have to confess - the food on the table is not British at all. It's chitlins and grits, my mother's recipe.

Still looking at your impressive works. Sorry no image from me still! I find a bit difficult to follow.

Bruce, there are no problem here Thanks. I have some great food in China, eat everything (including those bits) and I really enjoy!! (including jelly fish). Try to replicate, and learn myself. I am lucky to travel to many countries and enjoy their food styles and learn. Beyond that we have our own tastes of course.

What could possibly be more fun and unforgetable than taking your Mom (by surprise) to the Air Show and do 2-3 parachuting TANDEM jumps???? Your Mom will never forget this lovely experience!...and for lunch....a quick lunch before the jump will be provided.

After nearly six weeks without broadband connection in my cosy little new home, I'm back!

Remember that the female physique is slender: not so much of a square jaw-line or a thick-set neck.

Good to have you back Michael - I was beginning to wonder whether you had left us for good.

No image from me this week. Steve, I have to say that your face does not lend itself to be 'womanised', so take that as a compliment. I did experiment, but you ended up looking like something that would scare the cat and I don't believe your mum would have been too impressed. A decent donor image, which had not been used by others, could not be found despite trawling through hundreds
