Thanks again Steve. Believe it or not I spent a lot of time researching images of palm trees and now have large folder of them.... they've driven me crazy! I wanted to put shadows on the train too to better emplace them. Following your comment, too late, I refer back to original image: I should have! I misinterpreted the direction of the light source, but it is low and few degrees off the direction of travel. Damn. Opportunity missed. Mistake. |

Thanks, Steve. I fast-forwarded (is that a word?) by 200 pages in 100% Photoshop to learn how to do the ivy. It was my first attempt at drawing anything from scratch in PS so there is hope for me as I start the 'Setting the Scene' chapter. _________________ Man cannot change the direction of the wind but he can adjust the sails |

Thanks for the kind comments, Steve and for posting the wiki link of the tower. If any forum members come to Portsmouth I would recommend a trip up the Spinnaker on a fine day as the views across the Harbour to the Isle of Wight are wonderful and you can test your bravery by walking across the glass floor
