Re: Challenge 392: Rainy reflections
:Edit:
Sorry is late in context, busy halfway through:
see my later comment

I think Nick is right. Of course I might be wrong. If you have a diffused light it gives penetration, but with single sources 99% of the light will be reflected at a certain angle of incidence, between you and the source. The angle depends on the media, here water, which is well studied, albeit quite strange.....

For my part, I have some difficulties at the moment (too many, looking after others and maybe me...) and since the place was quiet (I wont say dead) nothing moves any more... a still pond,

but I am always positive

Just been looking at some of the entries again. Joey really like yours. That little child in the yellow rain coat, reminds me of the Japanese horror film 仄暗い水の底から (dark water) it was remade in the us but no where as good as the original

Sorry folks missed all your later response, confirming the point.
Trying to look after mother ...... and err the cats......and even sister and friends, people are dieing and getting broken ... so gives me some stress
Sorry for sharing that with you ....
BTW this explains reflection better than I can at the moment, but it is a strange(?) thing, but fascinating part of physics, well for me http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reflection_%28physics%29

Thank you! My inspiration was S. King's novel "IT" - where the very nasty bad clown lurks in the gutter drain and grabs children and paper boats.........Joey

Re: Challenge 392: Rainy reflections
Thank you Steve. I was so busy trying to make the car reflections and the bit on the sidewalk, I didn't think about placing some puddles elsewhere. Gallery name was meant to be "Outlier": that which lies, or is, away from the mainbody. Sort of an anomaly in the area. Just my take on it!

Re: Challenge 392: Rainy reflections
Thanks, Steve. I did try and get the reflections directly below but they kept fighting back! I tried dividing the flipped image up but ended up with mismatches which looked worse. I guess it is just my inability to see... (No artistic ability)

Thanks Steve. Perspective catches me out again! Camera Track Alley didn't have quite the same punny ring to it. Cheers Vern

Thank you Steve. Yes After Effects would be great, but it would take more than a few pointers to get me there, and I fancy Anna to be a somewhat busy lady.

err, when did i move to Basildon?

I added a dog and a ball, so the ripples have a source now.

Slightly off track here Steve - first water attempt -- nevertheless my initial try evolved into this -- besides all of our puddles over here are frozen { brrrrr} --
