Not obsessed - just being green and recycling ![]() I did clone some pebbles round the edge of the hole to try and take away the sharpness but not enough evidently _________________ I'm not really bad - I just draw that way |

Thanks Steve -- the anchors are sitting on a rock pile which some are just visible behind them - the water was tricky and I had to make the float plane propeller from scratch. Frank |

> There's something about this view that makes me think the horizon should be higher than this, but I can't put my finger on it: have you checked the height with the original photograph? Thanks again Steve. I agree, but something strange about Corks Atlantic tides and winds makes the sea look very high. The waves and tidal flows take the sea above ones land horizon, especially when rush into Cork harbour or Roberts Cove in this place with the wind and a tidal rush. Its about 3m(? - got it wrong first sorry) there. http://easytide.ukho.gov.uk/EasyTide/EasyTide/ShowPrediction.aspx?PortID=0748&PredictionLength=7 |

Re: Challenge 404: Bring in the tide
Angela, For me in Ireland its having good chat, music, drink, friends in Ireland, ask news, how did it go, today and tomorrow? Apparently it came originally for north England "crak" - old English. It went to Ireland, and strangely they made it Gaelic craic phonetically, but according to my understanding not Gaelic. Its very important endearment with friends in Ireland. Now"craic" is back accepted into UK with a few but with Irish metaphor and spelling, but liked ![]() ![]() Trevor P More info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craic |

Re: Challenge 404: Bring in the tide
Thanks for the comments Steve. I deliberately wanted the guy in the tank to be still , almost as if he were posing for a photograph, oblivious to all the madness going on in the background and creating an amusing/ridiculous contrast to the scene..(possibly) _________________ Quote of the day..
