Thanks Steve. I Googled and Binged "1940s bomb shelters", and there were tons of choices - luckily, I chose the right ones!

Thanks Steve ... I agonised over where to put the hobbit's head (or if to put it in at all) because I wanted to keep the light on the floor. I should have found a better compromise ... methinks.

Given the multiple light sources, shouldn't each bomb cast three shadows? Or two, at the very least, since the third light is so distant.

I was insecure about the shadow issue. My thinking was that the front right source would fade other shadows, but I'll put in a couple of weaker ones.

A spectacular train from Whaler, filling the tunnel with smoke - I like the idea of this. But you need to watch the perspective: the rails don't match the angles of the base of the walls on either side. Simple solution: move the rails!

Thanks, Steve! You never know which direction a train departing from King's Cross platform 9-3/4 may go. That's part of the same magic that made the train appear in the tunnel/shelter!

Thx Steve, I always enjoy reading your critiques to all of us as it truly inspires me to improve with suggestions you make to us. Good catch on my poor spelling. Not sure about your reference to the Exit sign. Is the "Nooooo" in regards to having to leave through that particular exit or the type. I chose the type (comic sans) because of the "comicy" sphincter exit what would you have suggested? Thx again Darren

Thanks again Steve,

> structural integrity with this shape?
Yes I was thinking same. Its become a parabolic arch which as I understand transfers most of the forces to the ground rather than so much outwards, reference e.g. Isambard Kingdom Brunel, but this much tighter!

>Wildly off-topic in the second entry - glad to see you back on form.
Don't encourage me!
Actually I thought I was some what on topic, well maybe, but with a weak contribution. All the people have gone, just the child's toy left and as in Picasso Guernica and his Crying Women, the pain is left
. The view outside is a symbolized cause of it, as felt needed to keep away from historic Nazi war machine so symbolized in the future from Blade Runner (history repeats itself). "Picasso's insistence that we imagine ourselves into the excoriated face of this woman, into her dark eyes, was part of his response to seeing newspaper photographs of the Luftwaffe's bombing of Guernica......." http://www.inminds.com/weeping-woman-picasso-1937.html
(Now: Guernica a beautiful place, green, but very wet cycle ride... But a sad story now with unemployment levels... )

Yes I was caught out good and proper on that poster

Apparently they are taking the word "gullible" out of the dictionary too

I was lucky with the occupants - they were taken from a contemporary photo of a bomb shelter - or so I was told ...
