Not sure it would be advisable to pursue this much deeper ....

Have recently discovered yet another tv channel - True Entertainment, with very early series of The Avengers. I had forgotten how truly bizarre that programme was.

Re: Challenge 551: The wedding suit
A young John Travolta from Ant Snell kicked off this week's entries, with the trademark huge collar and chain neatly sitting atop the white suit. A great choice of background, but is there something strange going on around his hair? A neat decade-appropriate second entry.

A splendid angel from Josephine Harvatt, looking suitably ethereal without coming across as Aryan - perhaps it's the beard that does it? Very tasteful. Should I recognise him?

A sparkly Liberace from DavidMac, with pink jacket and added bling. I like the new hand, and the reflections in the piano - very effective. And a really funny second entry, I greatly enjoyed this one.

A thoroughly seedy character from srawland, with greasy hair, outsized shades and tacky bling. How on earth did you find this man? Perfect!

Vibeke's entry manages to make the suit look almost tasteful - I think the pink ribbon does defuse the horror of it rather well. And I like the woman's hand on his shoulder, although it does highlight the lack of shading down his left side.

A rather creepy Mr Clean from Frank, with a new hand holding the box - and a great smug grin on his face. But as Sara points out: she does look cross in that pose.

A heavenly entry from sciteach, with a heavily bearded deity in the shiny suit. Morgan Freeman would have been perfect - if we had to vote for a God he'd be top of my list.

An ingenious pairing from Linda Eckert, with the suit appearing first in an old-fashioned window display (I like the neatly removed head) and then in a vintage wedding photo in the second entry. A touch of blue under the arm in the first scene, but otherwise a very nicely worked out and neatly achieved set.

A truly grisly disco dancer from tooquilos, with a shiny-trousered, short-sleeved version of the suit, complete with pouting dancer. A tremendous story in the animated version, with hilarious dancing moves. And I really like how the original suit appears in the window in the first scene... brilliant!

An extraordinary wedding card from puffin31939, incorporating the suit into a pair of teddy bears... beautifully done, but I'd hate to be invited for dinner with this couple.

Bruce Willis makes a surprise guest appearance in Jota120's entry - then pops up again on (or, rather, near) the red carpet in the second entry. I think I prefer him with the threat of decapitation hanging over him.

An extraordinary female entry from Emy, which very nearly works (should I recognise her?). Two points: that hand, so prominent in the scene, still looks artificial and very male; and had you thought of using Liquify to add some breast bulge?

A surreal entry from James, with a fly landing on the mannequin's nose, only to be swatted off by a ghost - and the whole thing is in a church setting. Oh, I get it - is he in a coffin? That would explain everything!

A clever Sergio Leone reference from Mariner, with a Clint Eastwood lookalike wearing the jacket. A great choice of hat and female companionship, and the guitar is perfectly held - complete with reflection in the top. Splendid work, Michael.

A somewhat baffling image from shaneworth71, combining Game of Thrones, an apocalyptic background and a woman who seems entirely unfazed by the toxic gases swirling around her. Good to see you back, Shane - but you need to lay off those mushrooms.

Great to see John Steed showing up in Deborah Morley's entry. He does manage to make even that ghastly suit look dashing - and the white bowler matches perfectly. Why is Emma Peel ghosted, though? Thanks for the heads up about that channel - series link set up!

An ingenious casino scene from Emil, who has made the mannequin look human rather than replacing the head. A good fit on the hair, and I like the tweaked expression; but it's the treatment of the hand that works best for me, those shiny nails add a lot of realism. Good work.

And to close the show, Elvis is back in the building thanks to Darren - a nicely posed, neatly combined montage with the guitar tucked under the arm. Nice work! But is his left hand in a bandage?

He is ..... and he's a Brit what's more ....

To catch the resemblance to a sort of benign Eastwood is very clever.

Thank you, Steve. I was for sure you'd have something to say about the perspective, or a question as to what he was sitting on.

The head complete with glasses and greasy hair I found by using the search term "lounge lizard" I had to Google the jewelry separately. I just used the tackiest I could find.

Thanks, Steve. I was looking for a suitable 'body' when I spotted the wedding bears - and my plans changed!
