Sara, I liked your animated /fuse/poser: neat and clean.

Michael where did you get another Harley Davidson photo with a biker on it: it's too realistic to have been photoshopped?

Hi Sara, its a Fuse model. I found one in the driving position and then masked out parts of his body that wouldn’t be seen when he was riding the bike.

Hi Michael. I hope you are back in good health. The bike in the challenge is a Honda Goldwing. I searched the web for a Hell's Angel to fit on it and finally found this:

Re: Challenge 723: On your bike
First to jump on the bike was lwc, with nicely posed woman in a curious animation - the much zooming back and forth. No finger on the trigger button? I like the background in the second entry - neat cutout, too. An interesting creeping visual effect in the second entry - gangrene?

An immaculate cutout (with fine reflections in the chrome) from DavidMac, with three scantily-clad ladies draping themselves over the equipment. they do look most uncomfortable. There’s something odd about the photographer in the foreground - I think he’s probably too small, and I don’t think you’d be able to get a view of him looking down like that when the distant bikers show you’re not up a ladder.

A remarkable selfie from GKB - a secret fantasy? Very fine lettering, too, and an immaculate cutout. I was most taken with the 1973 photo - you reckless hooligan.

A night scene from tooquilos, with what looks like a Fuse-built rider. I really like the gleam on the chrome work. Is that a new front wheel? I like the sparkling bike in the showroom in the animated version, but is it deliberately very small? A nicely built garage, great dust effects, and the real wildlife really adds to the effect. Like the clouds!

A different bike - but at least it is a bike - from michael sinclair, in a nicely wrought animation. Although I normally think your animations would work better in three frames than two, I think this one does the job. One thing I’ve noticed, Michael: you always choose very detailed and busy skies. I really think these distract the eye, detracting from the image: a calmer sky would make the whole effect stronger.

A neat cutout from srawland, with a figure leaning over the bike who’s rather curiously hidden behind the windshield. Maybe it’s just the angle. No shadow beneath the bike? Ah - I see in the animated version it was just the angle. Great voiceover from your talented friend. The woman walking past does need to bounce a little, though, or it looks like she’s on a conveyor belt.

A spruced-up bike from Mariner, with a novel choice of rider. He’s a bit big for the bike, wouldn’t you say? And I’d have put him a little higher in the scene. Best things for me are the refraction through the windshield, and the teddy bear in the back.

A nice relocation from Deborah Morley, with neatly made reflections in the chrome. that’s a very big rider, though - he shouldn’t be able to see over the top of the windshield, surely. And I’d recommend both hands on the handlebars - or at least one.

Thanks, David, for the starting image.

Yes you're right. The picture is eye level. He is too low in frame. Raising him would make him float so he needs to get bigger.

Thanks.

No not gangrene...lol! Actually it was only an experiment (for my own amusement) with different transitions between images. The first was to mainly 'creep' the reflections onto some of the chrome on the motorcycle. The transition was based on the difference in luminance between the two images, the second transition going back to the original image was based on saturation... two quite different results. It appears that the second is much faster but they are the same speed @ 15 frames/sec.

Thanks for the critiques...
