Thanks Steve, the drooping Willow Tree was an add in to add some depth. Very good entries by all this week

Mariner, thank you! For me is your entry the top of the top... my dream! Indeed excellent...

Wouldn’t that path in front of the building look better if it curved over the hillside?

Yes it would of course. Sheer laziness on my part.

The second entry had me gasping in admiration: I stared at this for ages, trying to work out how you’d managed to twist the perspectives with such seamless skill. Truly astonishing, David, and one of the most memorable images this Forum has ever seen.

Well thank you Steve. I don't know quite what to say except that, as you know, illusion and perspective are my first love. They are in fact what led me to learn Photoshop in the first place. I suppose that twenty years of trying to twist reality has simply given me more practice than most at this particular type of manipulation. I did enjoy doing it!

Thanks, Steve.

Well done David. You really impressed Steve with this one. I love its dreamlike effect.

Well thank you very much. Illusion is simply what I love best.

Thank you Steve, I must say I didn't even consider the horizon. I was too busy trying to get the house to look as if it were sitting on the ground. I actually wanted to animate it blasting off Mars and landing at it's present location, but I kept accidentally deleting my layers and files.

Cheers Steve - it was one of those challenges where darkness was my friend
