Re: Challenge 755: UFO response unit
Thanks Steve, I had a lot of fun with this weeks challenge.

The mystery UFO is the American classic snack, the Twinkie. It's been around since 1930. In hindsight, I should have used a doughnut since cops are forever linked to "being on the take" for free doughnuts and coffee.

Great mural... sorry about this Pichi below, but I just couldn't help myself...

Thanks Steve - nice job on the mural - appears Loyd added a sea monster to it . Might need a "DANGER" sign now.

Although it is a trompe l'oeil, I like the way you have made it unashamedly a painting instead of attempting hyper realism.

Yes. Also, I couldn't do hyper realism.

The two things I wished for most were Adjustment Layers and an Opacity slider.

Thanks, Steve. It was indeed a very interesting trip. I spent a few weeks in an abandoned village on an artists’ residency in Kerry. The artists form a tiny community in which each artist occupies their own (restored) house. I spotted the grass circle with some fellow artists. That might explain the somewhat creative assumption about the UFO.

My mom would never let us eat those as children. One day, my brother and I bought a twin pack and ate one each. I remember it being sickly sweet. I know some people love these but I never developed a taste for them.

Thank you Steve. I never thought of the jelly fish but yes they do look like them. I just made them out of semi transparent material as there was quite a bit of detail on the inside of the ship, which otherwise would of been missed.

Wonderful mural !! See this week's challenge
