You set the bar really high here, David.

Thanks Steve. It's exactly the kind of thing I like.

All apart from the dodgy perspective on the computer panel. I like the tea lady, even if her trolley is somewhat skewed.

Both Pixel Squid objects. Neither would rotate to quite the right position and both had dodgy perspective (relative to my image). I did my best in 2D to try and ameliorate the problems but short of taking them apart and re-shaping and re-assembling the constituent faces it doesn't work.

Of course, the master restorer Mariner was absolutely right about adding windows, as you have done.

Yes my original aim was for a flat sterile look. That might be correct but it was rather dull. Which is why I was happy to accept Mariner's suggestion and/or bait.

The extended fifth entry is magnificent. I can’t begin to imagine the work you’ve put into this. And the lighting is much better!

Thanks again. I really enjoyed this one so it didn't feel like work.

This entry took me right back fifty eight years to my first ever film job. I began in 1964 as a trainee with the National Coal Board Film Unit shooting underground. I remember these type of trolleys and the wobbly dodgy tracks vividly. Pit ponies were still in use to pull them in a couple of the pits I worked in. After six months traineeship I got the all important movie trades union card which left me free to work where I liked in the movie business. I ran from the pits as fast as my feet could carry me ............

Ah, rendered at last.

Thank you Steve. No, I don't do animation. This modelling stage is most probably half way to an animation ready model. I would still have to create an hierarchy with all the parts, section them into groups and create a bone structure to rig the model.

I would love to but it's a massive subject. I had to decide whether I wanted to animate other people's models or create my own.

It's not out of the question but I would like a time when I can adsorb the subject without pause. Maybe 2 years time, if I go on pension then...

Aw shucks Steve you are making me blush!
I must have spent half the time trying to understand how the doors worked until I had the bright idea of seeing how everyone else had managed!
The flag was lifted straight from google - just a little distort to get it to sit right.
