Good to see Napoleon making, not just one, but two appearances :laugh
Nice work Loyd and Michael

Thank you Loyd. I was thinking of you when I did this one. If you click to enlarge the image you can see your face behind the wigwams.

Re: Challenge 840: Herman Munster
I thought that I was finished, but this bit of silliness popped into my head this morning.

Re: Challenge 840: Inauguration Day
NEW TECHNIQUE

All of you can try this new technique from a YouTube tutorial converting a photo into a sketch/drawing. First get the head of whomever you please. Second, desaturate it. Third, duplicate it. Fourth, select "Color Dodge" from the top layer. Fifth, Go to the Main Menu, and select Image-Adjustments-Invert. Sixth, Again from the main menu select Filters-Blur- Gaussian Blur, and from the Dialog Box adjust the slider to suit. Seventh, make further adjustments as you see fit.

This has stumped and surprised everyone Jim. Don't feel like that. You're doing fine!

What a great slant on a frustrating image Mariner.

And I have to confess I failed to spot Loyd in there ....... !

If you look around in Mariners image you will find at least one more person, a profile. As a matter of fact, I can find some other strange faces that may or may not be intended. A lot like looking at clouds.

Re: Challenge 840: Inauguration Day
Thanks David, Loyd. A frustrating image, very difficult to get just right. Michael S made an especially good job of it, but he had a head start, as did you David.
I spent some time reading up on the dreadful story of the rape of the Dakota Sioux by the so-called "civilized" white men and realized that the construction of those statues of politicians was both an insult and a disgrace and decided to take them down.
Loyd I too can see faces in the original rocks, so I decided to add a couple of my own.

Re: Challenge 840: Inauguration Day
Michael I am really surprised at the skill you brought to bear on this Challenge. I thought you were fixated on Napoleon and low-resolution silent movie animations, but no, this time you have shown that you are capable of a lot more. Well done!

Pareidolia.

And don't even try to pretend you didn't need to look it up!

Pareidolia

Of course I looked it up, in Wikipedia.

Pareidolia is the tendency for incorrect perception of a stimulus as an object, pattern or meaning known to the observer, such as seeing shapes in clouds, seeing faces in inanimate objects or abstract patterns, or hearing hidden messages in music.

Now I am starting to wonder if the voice in my head continually telling me to shoot Donald Trump is pareidolia, or have I just gone nuts?
