Re: Challenge 959: The Midas touch
I really thought when I first saw Steve's photo that it would take me nowhere. To my complete surprise it's been lots of fun.

For non Brits the setting here is Covent Garden - London's hot spot for street performers of all ilks including plenty of those "seated or suspended without support" gold painted statue performers. Never understood the appeal myself. The support trick is childishly transparent and the unmoving figures boring. Hopefully these guys will bring a new twist.

Yes, that ending scene and the song from 1969 "In The Year 2525". The recent AI discussions triggered thoughts of the song.

Loyd, David, Gordon, and Josephine good work from all of you.

I was stuck for a caption, and the best I could come up with was: "Well, I'm sure my sat nav said turn left at the next junction"

Thanks Michael

I have tweaked the Latin part of the inscription.

Thanks Michael... some rough navigating in that one.

Ah yes Gordon, the coveted HTCIP gold medal... first time I've seen one.

I find the absolute simplicity of that very appealing.

Very nice Loyd, even if the second hand is moving a bit too quickly.
