Thanks Gordon, Loyd and Ben. Nice that something so completely simple has garnered compliments.

Ben your new version is interesting. The disappearance of the instruction label is welcome.

But here's the odd thing. The lightening of the pianist is, in real terms absolutely correct and consistent with the image, but somehow in purely visual terms I preferred him dark. Go figure ........

Buy an old piano at auction and it’s up to you to take it home.

Some fantastic entries this week.

David, the fit beneath the stairs is perfect. I love the scenic route the piano took to get home, Loyd

Anna's Atari post has put me in mind of something I think some of you might have enjpyed in the past. If any of you remember this (or don't come to that) go check my games nostalgia post in Straight Photography and Off Topic

Sorry for the off topic Steve but I think it's perfectly relevant for the personalities in HTCP.

Michael & David, I had fun with that one. For some odd reason I see it in the following context:

Anxious to get home with his piano, Chuck finds himself trapped by an endless train somewhere in a rural area of... The Twilight Zone.

If nothing else, he saved a little money on the delivery fee.

“Ali ! Is everything alright ?”
Prince Franz August Karl Albert Emanuel of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha married Queen Victoria in 1840 and died on the14th December 1861 aged 42. He had been suffering for some time from serious stomach pains. His wife was also 42 years old. She was devastated by his death and stayed in mourning, dressing always in black, until she died in 1901. Together, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert had nine children, who later gave Victoria 42 grandchildren.

Re: Challenge 1070: Play my piano
Clean work as always Michael, but it gives rise to a couple of queries.

I know your passion for correctness! Are these two really the young Victoria and Albert?

I am puzzled by the completely see through top half of the piano. If it is glazed, which appears to be the case, shouldn't it be filled with strings?

Still a lovely image.
