Thanks Michael and Tooquilos for the comments on my entry.

And thanks to all for the entertaining controversy.

Josaphine and Celia, I defend your right to express freedom of speech (where we would we be without it!), It's just one ought to make a distinction about your right to express your views ( and my views too--let's not forget that too) and Christ and Christ's principles clearly being rubished.

Anyway, I would not like you to go Celia over this, and therefore I ask if you would stay on here, as you add a certain something (what is that French phrase) to this forum and you and Josaphine have always been flattering about my work.

Thirty years ago when I was your age I was an irreverent hooligan myself, but don't tell anyone that..

Alex to my utter astonishment you have been very mature and level-headed about this incident, and you have my respect in how you handled it.

PS I would love to see a photo of this fiesty high-spirited girl who thinks she's a Leprchaun!

Your vocabulary of "fiesty", "girl", is extremly offensive to me and friends of mine. WHY?... I'll not comment on this forum why. JUST GO AWAY!!!! Find somewhere else. AND I dont like "Leprchaun" either. Get an education!

I love the image Josephine, great stuff.

I am not going to comment on the dialogue this week, but would ask Celia to reconsider, because I'll miss her valuable contribution.

Blimey Jota!
If we're going to be taken to task for typos we're all in trouble
Unless you meant that YOU don't like leprechaun which seems a bit harsh

There are lots of forums I can go to if I want to read a bit of light personal abuse, but only one How to cheat in Photoshop; some weeks ago a poster said what a lovely friendly forum this was, and 99 percent of the time it is - lets try for 100 percent eh people ?

Totally agree with you. More than enough said from me. Sincere appologies from me. Thanks for changing the subject and getting back on track.

Re: Contest 227: Grabby little hands
Sorry, just another one from me, but necessary to clear the air and hopefully get us 100% happy again. (and no mods, just rockers)

Michael and myself have had a one-to-one discussion. After clarification, I withdraw the objection on my part and look forward to his further much appreciated work and contributions (most of the time ).

Usage of English and understanding can be very sensitive sometimes, as we all know. When we post, it can get even more prone to misunderstanding. When we all have different usage and backgrounds its even more complex and prone to misunderstanding. Normally I'm very good (I think ), but maybe over sensitive here. (I even contradicted my earlier posting)

The most important thing is Michael was sincerely apologising to Celia and really wants her back contributing. He did not mean any inappropriate innuendoes, which I may have inferred. It was just his way.

So looking forward to Celia, Michael and all others' work and contribution . Still plenty of time this week! Enjoying them all

Take it easy, I'll try to keep quite for a while,
Trevor

Re: Contest 227: Grabby little hands
I feel this forum is very much like a family, except we seem to have very few fights. Hopefully this one is over and done with and I sincerely hope Cecilia will stay with us. The problem with the written world is it can often be interpreted in ways it was never meant.
Peace be with all of you.

How about a nice salad? Meat eating is said to make people a bit more on edge. Even the dinosaur seems to be happier with some veggies.

Je ne plus sais quoi faire. Celia, this forum would be ever so dull without you - could you honestly live with that? Time for peace?
Hope you can all see the funny side. ...Anyway, don't anyone mess with my entry, I don't need to remind you of my Sicilian connexion...

The light of the man in the (paws?) is confusing me! Is it not worth dodging and burning the light on the character, or adding the same effect to the dinosaur?
