Re: Challenge 388: A logo for the Map
Well Steve I only figured the hologram logo out at 1am this morning! So I had to create the simple spinning icon in 3dMax. Usually when I've rendered any movie in 3dmax the video always has a standard black background. To give it a transparent background I rendered the video as a QuickTime MOV in PNG format and this has to be at 16million colors+. (the + is the important bit apparently!) and hey presto! An animation with no annoying background to get rid of. This may have been obvious but I had no idea before, so very useful to know!

Artwell,
Loved the JazzMaster. My only complaint is that it was too short!

Couldn't come out to play this week as I have been trying to negotiate the traffic in Bombay; 45 minutes to do 3 Km ... I'll never criticise the M25 again

Thanks Steve, very tactful as always. I was hoping they would like jewels but forgot to add sparkles.
