How did the boots get there? The guy stepped sideways from out of shot - or at least that is my excuse for not thinking about that!

Thanks, Steve

I was very intrigued by Emy's entry, in which the handbag isn't just covered in mud, it's see through - and we can see right through the woman holding it, as well. It's an interesting optical trick; but are you sure it makes sense?

Hi Steve, I was not planning on making any sense, I just wanted to have some fun with the optical illusion I created. I am glad you saw that!!

Thank you Steve.

I nearly gave up on this one - it wasn't easy finding a man to put in the mud! And he had to be naked - you should see my search history!

Reminds me of the time some years ago when I needed a photo of a manhole cover, and I did a Google search for "manhole". Er....

What really intrigues me about Whaler's sense of scale is that the ruler appears to be taken from a computer screen - complete with close box on the far left. Is that right? I like the way it fits on the wood, but shouldn't it have inches on the other side?

No, Steve, the ruler does not come from a computer screen. I enclose the original image for all to see. And this ruler is not supplied with inches. In which case I would probably taken measures to leave them out.

Thanks Steve--- I was happy just being the photo guy-- some of those bikes had beer on board -- it was about a 6 hour trip culminating at a pub to wash some mud down

Thanks again Steve,

> A serene initial entry from Jota120, so wildly off-topic. I don't know what to say about it.

Its ok say nothing, in my mind a carbon/oxygen rich planet burning its self away.

>its A haunting second entry, but the extreme perspective of the people seems at odds with the more gentle perspective of the mud..

I'm not sure I agree. Just me. I tried to get them climbing up the hill up into nothing. These are German POW. Many never made it back home and died horrible death, and the same for Russia and Poland etc...

>Great snow, though. Thanks
