You have my vote for the most rocking hand position. Your imagination has a good eye!

This ones dedicated to my mom. She walked past while I was working on the other image and cooed...."Oooo! Is that Andre' Rieu?" so I couldn't resist.

I did this one at work waiting for my next ship so not as much effort put into it as the first but thoroughly enjoyed it.

Masterful. Thank your mom for us.

Yeah, I can take him out of his environment--early twentieth century...perhaps

Our mentor might comment "isn't he a little large for the scene?" To which I answer " Newton was a giant of a man!"

My favorite collages are the old-school ones that are obviously cut-outs, and I simply adore this one! Thanks for the enjoyment.

Sorry Steve.
I thought that every schoolboy knew that Newton invented gravy when an apple fell onto his head.

Re: Challenge 687: Newtonian mechanics
Thanks Steve.
Yes a quickie and been busy + interruptions. Hence maybe left too ambiguous and unfinished handy-work as you noted. It was meant to be a bit surreal, but unfinished maybe just initial concept captured.

The snake represents Force, but its adopted from Adam and Eve in The Garden of Eden. Its sort of meant to represent Force and the apple Mass as in Newton's 2nd Law F=ma (force = mass x acceleration or F= m dv/dt . If I'd had time to create a motion version e.g. with a gif the acceleration would have been more apparent than implied from a= F/m. If you, or for me anyway, such physics laws as Newton's, make you and can maybe be surreal). Having adopted the snake and apple from Adam and Eve, I'm no theologian, but if its interpreted has having dual meaning ("good and evil?") maybe the analogycan be applied to F e.g. for a passenger aircraft or an intercontinental ballistic missile or a bullet ......
Going off in such a train of thoughts I guess I'd never have finished it! STOP!. Going off line ...
Hopefully next weeks entry is not so surreal...
