Frank - I like it, the fade in of nature works well. You could make another, run it in reverse and call it 'after the drought'...

Re: Challenger 958: The flood wall
I have now let AI have a go at producing the same results I did. Since these are pure AI with no input from me except text prompts they don't really belong here (and there's quite a lot of them) so I have opened a completely new thread in which I directly compare my attempts at this challenge with AI and in which I test AI much further using this same base image. I have come to the conclusion that AI is just brilliant at some things and very bad at others. In the context of this challenge I think some, but by no means all, of my own efforts were better. If nothing else they were more focused.

Its here: "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" what generative fill can and cannot do for you.

Yes, I have removed all the water marks Michael. Not too bad...what! What!

I look forward to David's explanation in the difference between "Spot Healing Brush, and the "Remove Brush"

Amazing, Michael. And you did all that using AI? Fantastic. Of course it is not perfect. Thare are still a few spots on his suitcase which need attantion, and his mobile phone has gone missing. Even so it's a remarkable result. Well done! Do you care to give us all a couple of tips?

I haven’t tried it very extensively yet Michael. But basically it does the same as the Spot Healing Brush but better. It lacks the slight fuzziness that can sometimes occur with the Spot Healing Brush and seems to make a better choice from the surrounding pixels. It also works surprisingly well on much larger areas.

Re: Challenger 958: The flood wall
Thanks Michael, I'm afraid it was a rush job, and there was nothing I could do to remove the large eye, but initial results indicate small brush size not large is better. The second tip is that if it does not work the first time around then a second application will do the trick.

Thanks for the helpful info David.

Re: Challenger 958: The flood wall
This is not an entry!
I am a bit late to the game on this but just been playing with AI Generative Fill in Photoshop Beta. I must say although it’s not perfect, but it is pretty dammed amazing! My first idea was to try and reproduce my actual entry but soon got distracted and ended up just playing.
Step 1/ Added water (Very good results)
Step 2/ Tried to add a Lancaster bomber (The generated images were removed due to violations, as did Spitfire. Not sure what that is about?) So I then just put aircraft flying low, the results were not what I expected but all the examples were water plains, very clever!
Step 3/ I now started to try and break it by adding a car to the water and yes it was a floating car!! WOW.
Step 3/ Added a swimmer but intentionally used a far to large selection area. (It did the job but not scaled to the image. I can forgive that).
Step 4/ Add a man with binoculars (3 good examples generated all with the grass around the legs)

Including installing the new Beta to end result took about 25 min. In summary, I am glad I am not a graphic designer starting off in my career (or am I ?)

Amazing, Frank. Pandora's box...yes.

I might have a look at ChatGPT and see what it can do, but maybe it's not a good idea to let it have my ip address. And perhaps I am just being paranoid.

Mariner a quick Chat GPT example

There once was a guru named Steve,
Who challenged folks every Friday eve,
With Photoshop in hand,
They’d create something grand,
And their skills, they’d proudly achieve!

Michael, there was no "large eye" in the original, so I don't understand. As for the Spot Healing Brush, and the "Remove Brush tools, we have been using those for a very long time, and they are probably not in the same league as the new improved AI which has just appeared over the horizon and which everyone is talking about, including me.

Ant, is that from Chat GPT? I think I'll leave it alone!

I once asked if Chat GPT
Would send a Love Letter for me
And the girl soon replied
Saying her love had just died
Now she's off with Tom, Dick and Hari.

HI Michael. There seems to be some confusion here. The Remove Brush tool is new in the latest release of Photoshop only. It is completely AI driven.

Apologies to Michael S. I really am out of touch with PS.
