Thanks Steve. I took the view that if the skeleton could find its way through 6 feet of earth, it could reach around the stonework and start to push it upward. Nick |

Thanks Steve. Trevor, Celia, Gordon, Tom and Les. You have a good point with the bevel but some just looked better embossed than engraved, not to mention the fact its easier to create in Photoshop! Realistically I guess its possible they could look this way. Some great entries ![]() |

Thank you Steve. I am still very much finding my way round the animation programme. The last time I looked at the skeleton he was fine - I then got into a bit of a muddle putting in the"Boo" (a last minute idea) so I must have moved the wrong layer at some point - of course when I reviewed the completed cartoon and saw the mistake all the layers had inexplicably (to me) had been merged and turned into frames, even the photoshop version ![]() So he had to stay like that - I console myself with the thought that those end of the pier machines were a bit dog eared too _________________ I'm not really bad - I just draw that way |

Re: Contest 244: Another grave business
Thanks Steve! ![]() It does have a hole, but in order to get the see-through effect I was after, I had to go fiddling with layer effects, so it's a bit hidden. I used a picture of a costume on it's own instead of a man wearing one. (Sorry I hadn't time to do something a bit more creative, I had a lot of Photoshopping to do for work this week.) |

Thanks Steve, the picture comes from the collection of the Mutter Museum in philadelphia. the Mutter Museum is the Victorian-era medical museum holding thousands of unforgettable (and often unsettling) objects, including anatomical and pathological specimens, models and instruments. Don't know who the man is on the picture but it just struck me...so I used it. I'm sure the copyright is expired by now ![]() Have a great week in Oslo.... |

Re: Contest 244: Another grave business
Hi Steve. Thanks for your comments. I never thought about bending the shadow. The only thing that is hand drawn is the Post It note. There are three different pictures (notebook, pen, ghost) that are used, including the graveyard pic. The text on the notebook page is a ghost story I found and made some changes to it. Luis |

I'm going to move the couple around and find something that represents the passage of time. I'm going for the big metaphor that's life. I just may have a good one here. _________________ "Do what you can to make the world more colorful" - Hugh Sacher-Asian |
