Thank you Steve and other members for the warm welcome.

I felt humbled after seeing so many great entries but decided to post anyway.
My starting point was to use a vector American Flag and Illustrator’s Envelope to distort with the shape of your flag.
Then imported into PS and Liquidfy with an Alpha channel to continue the fun.

Looking forward to other challenges along the way when time permits.
