Contest 10: Open the door
There's been a lot of discussion of perspective on the forum this week, so it seemed appropriate that this week's challenge should address that issue. The task is simple: open the door, and draw whatever's behind it. I don't mind what it is (although I really wouldn't like to see one of those dinosaurs getting inside!) as long as the perspective works properly. It's not a difficult job: all those bookshelves should give you a pretty strong visual clue! As usual, you'll find the high res artwork here. Any further embellishment is, of course, up to you.  |

Excellent Maiden, and you took the idea right out of my head, how did you do it so fast? Do you wait eagerly for the posting on Friday am?? 
Looks like I will have to come up with an "alternative" version  |

Thanks all. Steve, you can have the suit if you can get it off the Stock Photo model - he's rather attached to it. 
Trinity I'm not sure if it's an important guest or just someone Steve is trying to impress to buy his old camera. 
Tabitha, I'm a sad individual and all you say is true Well I'm not at work 'till this evening so I had the morning to have a play with Photoshop. |

So you're guessing that isn't me, making one last use from my Coolpix 5000? No, OK... it's from the royalty free collection at photos.com which I discovered a couple of weeks ago. And Tabitha, you're far too fussy! |

Nice one maiden, really good as usual!! The perspective is spot on, and I like what youve done with the wire at the bottom going outside the door. Heres my image, I found it harder than I first thought, especially the perspective. PS Steve, love the man behind the text, thats very clever!! Mind you I never trust a man who seems to work out, shaves his legs and chest, and then pretends he doesnt want to be seen!  |
