Contest 238: Contact lenses, anyone?
Alan Greenspan was chairman of the Federal Reserve under Reagan, Clinton and a brace of Bushes. Whatever you may think of his 19-year tenure, one fact is inescapable: he wore glasses. Your challenge this week is to take his glasses off. It's a rather more technical task than we've had recently, so I'll understand if we don't get the usual number of entries. For those who want to take it a step further, it's worth noting that this is an old photograph: he's lost a lot of hair, and gained some wrinkles, since this was taken. Any further updating of his image would be a bonus. High res is here.  |

A little off the topic, While I enjoy reading comments, and adding them, while looking at last weeks entry, and realising I had missed some. I couldn't help thinking how nice it would be, if we could see just the entires. Perhaps the comments could be collapsed, and expanded with a click to read them. _________________ Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize. |

Jeepy, Yours has an uncanny resemblance to the British actor Derek Fowlds of 'Basil Brush' and 'Yes, Minister' fame. _________________ Why isn't 'phonetic' spelled the way it sounds? |

Here is my try. I really struggled with the ear on the right. Oh Well. No point in spending more time on the ear because I know I'll never make it convincing.
