Contest 248: Out of the depths
Down by the docks in Oslo, I spotted this underground channel. What kind of machine or beast could live in such a place?

The real challenge here, of course, will be to match the distorted reflections in the water's surface. Not a task for the faint hearted!

High res is here.

Mike Mercury arrived to find that Supercar was not quite as super as Professor Popkiss and Professor Beaker had suggested.

And for those of us 'of a certain age' and those who would just like to know what 'Supercar' is....................

Jeepy, your crocodile is really well inserted into the water - it looks very realistic.

My Motto: when in doubt put everything into sepia

It sort of works in an alternative universe kind of way
(presumably one where the pyramids were more cuboid)
The headlines in the other news are all very weak and/or obscure puns

I was tempted to use the papyrus typeface as a geeky typographical in joke but sadly it looked terrible

I'm too worried about what's behind the wall to worry about what's in the water.
