Challenge 264: Digging in
Those of you who have visited thefullmontage may recognise this scene - it's one I photographed in Shrewsbury last year, showing a Tudor house on a rainy day.

What interests me, though, is the idea of all that history doubtless lying just beneath the surface. I've got permission for a week-long architectural dig here: what do you think might be revealed under the pavement?

Be careful lifting those stone slabs, though - they'll need to be taken up undamaged so they can be replaced later.

High res is here.

Thanks Anna - love your animated file that's one clever dog. Does he replace paving stones? If so how much an hour does he charge?

Thank you so much Nick Becky and Les!!

Becky, Auby is into the excavation side of thing. Any hole, whatever size you like..he will dig it for you. If you want a crater in your garden..look no further. He does it for free...just a pat and a bowl of food..and he is happy. Lately he has diversified and branched out into the Shoe Chewing business. He is doing very well with that.

The FBI finds a cache of small arms.

You'll notice in the foreground a very small arms expert.
