Challenge 268: The movie game
A slightly different type of Challenge this week. I thought it would be fun if you could think of a movie, and create an image that sums up the whole film, or at least its title - without including any stills from the film itself.

To make it more interesting for the rest of us, don't include the title in the image or in your post. Instead, include it as part of the image name, so if we can't guess what it is we can click on the image to open it in a new window and see what it's called.

Does this all make sense? Does it seem interesting?

Interesting but entirely confusing, Steve. I'll have to see what other people make of it before I can fully understand the concept.

OK, here's the idea again. I want you to create a montage that portrays the name or the theme of a film, so others can guess the film in question. Don't write the name on the image, but maybe include it in the file name so we can check if we get stuck. And don't use any images from the film itself!

For example, if you were doing When Harry Met Sally you might have Harry Houdini and Sally Bowles, Liza Minelli's character in Cabaret, perhaps sitting in a cafe as a reference to the scene in the film.

Easy peasy Mad Lep! . You need to replace the word in the sign with something more subtle. Rules of the game. Otherwise nice one.

Good to see you back, Celia. I agree with Sophie here - lose the sign altogether, the gags on the sheep are enough.

(Sorry - forgot my golden rule of not interfering until the end.)

I think this could be an entertaining Challenge for all of us. Feel free to post more than one entry!

Excellent Anna! Very good scene. Where did you get that perfect model?

Powerslave, looks like Dr Who but I didn't know there was a film of it. Either that or something like the Wild Bunch.

Some great ideas and work already this week.

Question?: Do we enter guesses as the week unfolds or wait until Friday?

I think keep your guesses to yourself, so as not to spoil the guesswork for others. If you get stuck, remember you can always open the image in a new window which will, if you've followed the instructions correctly, include the name of the movie in the filename...
