Challenge 290: a block of ice
A technique challenge this week. Here's the word ICE, set in Myriad Bold. Can you make this look like the lettering is made out of a block of ice?

There are several approaches to this one - I'll be interested to see what you all come up with.

Ben, magnificent carved edifice. How did you get such a good 3D effect?

Some excellent effects from everyone this week.

Steve, I searched my CS3 Design Premium disc for the 3D plug-in as suggested in your CS3 book. I found a folder 'Optional Plugins' but it wasn't among them. Perhaps I can find it online.
