Challenge 325: That sinking feeling
A few forum members turned up last night to the launch of my new book, Fun and Games for the 21st Century Family. It's not a Photoshop book, but one of my more mainstream titles.

Towards the end of the evening I was talking to Gordon Bain and Ted Eggs about the fact that I didn't have a Friday Challenge prepared for today, and we were discussing aschiewe's interesting query about how tramps can be made to sink into the ground. I'd been wanting to post this as a Challenge, but pointed out how hard it was to find images of sleeping figures on the ground.

Ted, game as ever, offered to come outside and be our posed model for the week - thanks a million, Ted.

So: can you sink him into the pavement? You may find the leaves and ground texture cause extra difficulty, so feel free to replace it with your own road surface.

High res is here.

That really has to be a most implausible story - "Towards the end of the evening...Ted, game as ever offered to come outside and be our posed model" Red wine maybe!!
Well done Ted

Yes indeed Deborah I'm glad I was not there! Well done Ted, there but by the grace of god ......

I was thinking of having a go at this after Andrew started his thread. Good job I waited. Great idea. Great work by referenced Christophe link, but do find it a bit disturbing.

I can guarantee that Ted was completely sober when I left, but that was at 20:30! A great evening Steve.

I've got a feeling that this challenge may be a TITANIC endeavour!

Sorry ... I couldn't help myself.

Thanks Ted ... you are a good egg!

Ah I see Josephine took the wind before the pictures came. I was serfectly pober lying here and just resting my eyes. Thank you Deborah for your honesty and for Nick for his truth but it was only half past eight when you last saw me. Leaves can be quite comfortable when your body gets used to the cold pavement.

"Babes in the Wood" eh! Some wood, some Babe!!

Thinking too about Deborah's post. Could be something in it and with the phrase 'posed model' maybe that is misspelt and there is an 'i' missing!

Welcome to the forum Kitten! Good to see your work.

Ted, my first thought was to pop a pillow under your head and a blanket to cover you...lol

Welcome to the new members.

Not an easy one, so I cheated and found Ted another location.
