Challenge 369: The black swan
It's rare to see a black swan in the UK - in fact, "all swans are white" was taken as an example of a scientific fact from the time of Cicero until black swans were indeed discovered in Australia in the 18th Century.

That aside... this swan cast a reflection in the water, which I've since removed. Can you recreate it? And how hard would it be to turn this swan white? I'll show the full image, with reflection, next week.

High res is here.

My god so many answers! All great in their way. Err better than I have done. I've a couple of cheats too.
Sorry Oz, but our swans are beautiful with attitude Nothing against my teenage girlfriend, but she thought thought they could not fly! A bird with attitude.

Tchaikovsky swan lake I saw in St' Pete's shook me. Its not supposed to know this ..apart for passion for music and visual arts...

There are a couple of resident black swans just round the corner from me. I was quite shocked to see them behaving so aggressively towards the other ducks and birds..for all their elegance and grace..there is an equally dark side to them...A little bit like Miss Piggy from the Muppets lol

Not sure if I got this correctly but I did have a fun time trying.
It has been so long since I have even turned Photoshop on.

Very good recent images

I'm still stuck on Swan Lake, Tchaikovsky,... sorry about this. Well I do deviate ... . Okay, I try something more normal(?) later if can.

Just comment on recent excellent works Kathryn and Bruce. Detail and all great Kathryn. Kathryn, do you paint? I see a painterly style.

I might try another soon but maybe not so Russian.... more on the brief maybe
