Challenge 405: 60 wrinkling years
This weekend sees huge celebrations in the UK for the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, who has been on the throne for 60 years. Despite copious make-up, though, I think she could do with a bit of assistance in order to make her look her best for the occasion. Can you give Her Maj a bit of a makeover, perhaps bringing her appearance more in line with the 21st Century? High res is here.  |

I will have to be diplomatic with this one. Some people will definitely be offended if I put a bolt through her neck, spider's web and swastika tatoos on her face, studs through her nose and lip and changed her pendants to pictures of the sex pistols. Thanks Artwel, Sophie and Jim for your very kind comments. Having patted myself on the back until administering morphine, I had that aaarrrgh feeling when I saw I'd missed some masking by her Maj's left ear, as viewed. How long have I been doing this?? Anyway, here is a slight rework. Jim - the food in the tower is pretty good these days, so I've heard. Just don't be leaving traitors gate on Sunday, because you're likely to be on the telly. Nick  |

I just found it quite difficult to deface the Queen  But..I decided to Facebook her instead!

Anna thats amazing, love the 'comment removed by facebook' . One suggestion though, as you've done it so quickly how about have the camera zoom in on the comments or move around the page rather than the scrolling?, I think Ants right though it could go viral! _________________ Quote of the day.. Anna that is excellent. Nick, amazing. I also had a bit of trouble working on this image. I have a great deal of respect for the Queen and quite frankly, if I live to be her age and still have as much energy, stamina, intelligence and being able to put up with idiots (see list of prime ministers), then I will be more than happy. But I have heard that she loves bright colours, hats and has a sense of humour.... Anyway, I raise my glass to her.  |
