Challenge 429: The house of cheese
The Dutch take their cheese very seriously, and have whole stores devoted to the stuff - such as this one I passed on a recent trip to Amsterdam.

As window displays go, I think this is a little lacking in punch. Is there anything that could be done to make the shop a little more tempting? I realise I'm probably asking for trouble by posting an image of a shop window in Amsterdam, so do try to restrain yourselves.

High res is here.

Ha!
When I saw the title I was thinking of a literal house of cheese - for those who don't like gingerbread perhaps?

Global crisis or not, cheese remains a French matter! Dutch can make good guda though.

Happy week-end

My entry - like Tomiloi's - is a tribute to French cheesemakers.
Their motto:
"Quite frankly my dears, we don't give edam"

Wasn't that the famous line from the film "Gone with the Bries"?

If you don't understand the pun try reading it again but more Caerphilly this time.
