Challenge 474: Night for day
I spent Wednesday night in the northern Spanish town of Bilbao this week, overseeing the printing of a book I'd designed (a complex job, with one edition in French and another in Arabic).

Highlight of the town is the new Guggenheim museum of modern art, a magnificent building clad in stainless steel which features this equally impressive Louise Bourgeois sculpture of a spider outside. I was only in the city late in the evening, so didn't get to go inside the building - or to see how the steel surface catches the sun. I took this photograph, incidentally, on my iPhone, using an app called AvgNiteCam, which takes multiple images (32, in this case) and combines them automatically to produce clear, bright, noise-free images.

The task this week is: can you take this night scene and show how it would look during the day? A tricky challenge, this one: I'm not sure how possible it is to produce an effective result.

Impressive, how did you keep the phone still? have you updated to the 5S?
Have a good weekend.

Thanks, Linda that should be a great help, it's better than most of the ones I found on the net.

Difficult challenge especially to Clarify the monument and "deep-etching" the leaves of the tree.

Hey, Linda, please go back to Bilbao and take a picture from behind the tree!
Thanks.

I flew to Bilbao again to take a picture of the Guggenheimmuseum with the tree. Unfortunately he was felled in the meantime ...

Re: Challenge 474: Night for day
Much harder than turning day into night, but it has been raining here.
