Challenge 505: The procession
I photographed this church procession in a back street in Cambridge. I have no idea who they were, or why they were in such an incongruous location. Can you move them to a more appropriate setting? High res is here. ![]() |

Achmed recanted on his deathbed that he was always a Christian, but wished to have his funeral at his local Mosque; however, the "locals" have heard about this service and are outraged, and a riot ensued. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Re: Challenge 505: The procession
I am feeling a little hesitant to poke fun at the Catholic Church at the moment After working a temporary assignment with the Jesuits at their California regional center and rest home for aged Jesuit priests and brothers for the past 2 1/2 weeks. However, I would like to note that my Websters Collegiate Dictionary gives a second definition of Jesuit as "one given to intrigue or equivocation" so perhaps my entry is entirely appropriate. Might I inquire if the original photo was taken April 18th this year? -Sara Father Dunphrey had no idea why the tourists were so out of hand this year. ![]() _________________ I'm still learning. |

Re: Challenge 505: The procession
Ben, I also really like your image! I am thinking you used Photoshop CC, CS6 >Filter> Oil Paint or Photoshop CS5, CS4 >Filter> Pixel Bender>Oil Paint Adobe Pixel Bender is still available for download http://www.adobe.com/devnet/pixelbender.html I recently upgraded from CS5 and caved into Adobe’s new lease only CC. I really miss Adobe’s Pixel Bender!!! Fun to play with. With CC, only the filter “Oil Paint” is an official feature. Kathryn |
