Challenge 513: Finish my desk
As you may know, when I'm not working in Photoshop I like to make real-life montages and sculptures. Currently, I'm working on a series of Extreme Furniture.

I've been building this desk on and off for a few months, but I can't decide what to do next. Can you help me to embellish it? What more could be added to this to improve it?

High res is here.

Judging by the size of it's footprint a couple of flying buttresses might not go amiss ....

Sadly I leave for work in foreign parts and will not be able to participate for the next two or three weeks. Pity ... I'd have enjoyed this one.

Steve that looks great. You should have a look at a puzzle game for the ipad The Room, or the Room 2. may give you some inspiration!

or just watch someone else solving the puzzles..

Steve, the old saying goes, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

I am basically a minimal person.
More is better???

Not sure where you are going with this custom design piece of furniture but then on the other hand, it’s all about the journey.

Have fun in your workshop.

Kathryn

It was really very funny, to take pictures of my fripperies and to use it for a «oeuvre d'art» ...

Re: Challenge 513: Finish my desk
The imaginative design philosophy and superb craftsmanship of this fine example of pseudo 20th century shedwork leave little room for improvement except, perhaps, for a slight decorative addition to the desktop.

The Desk-a- tron so good it had to be posted twice? I don't think so!
How did that happen?
Sorry Steve, please delete one if you want to keep the thread tidy
