Challenge 515: Vive la résistance!

During last weekend's abortive trip around the flea markets of northern France (everything was rained off), I visited the extraordinary museum that is La Coupole. It's the hollowed-out hillside where German forces stored and fired V1 and V2 rockets during World War 2.

Here's one of the many exhibits: a gas-powered car belonging to the FFI, the Forces Françaises de l'Intérieur - the resistance, in other words. I particularly like the way the car has strung up in this dramatic pose.

Can you take it out of its museum location, and find an appropriate wartime setting for it?

When I was in the air force an FFI was a type of medical procedure which the M.O. conducted with the aid of a pencil.

For some particularly brave people. In the foreground is a PIAT anti-tank weapon many of which were supplied to the Resistance.

Okay, I'm working on my image, and I keep thinking, why is this car so well marked? Wouldn't a modern equivalent be Al Qaeda Airlines?

Since the internet connection wouldn't allow me to participate in the Summer Meet-up, I decided to work on the challenge. I enjoyed meeting you all and I wish I could have stayed. Oh, and Steve, you are wrong about the Wacom. It is not going to take me two weeks to get used to it. This is only my second time using it, (Long story) and it already feels like the mouse has grown "clunky".
