Challenge 548: The bench and the birdbath
This week's image comes courtesy of Sara J Rawland, who spotted this idyllic scene of a tiny park, with a bench and a birdbath, while out on a cycling trip. The problem is not just the rather oppressive chain fence in the foreground, but the fact that the whole assembly is set in the grounds of a sewage farm.

Can you either (a) move the amenities to a more pleasing location; (b) replace them with some accessories more suited to the sewage farm location; or (c) show me what kind of people might choose to spend their leisure hours in such a place?

High res is here.

Re: Challenge 548: The bench and the birdbath
Thank you, Steve, for using my image, but please attribute me as "Sara J. Rawland." I always put my middle initial in my name because my first name ends in "ra" and my last name begins with "Ra" It's quite a mouthful to say without the "J" to break it up. The "J" stands for Josephine, BTW which was my maternal Grandmother's name. I'd go by Sara Josephine but that sounds like a nun's name, and Sara Jo sounds too "country" to me. (However, Josephine Harvatt is allowed to call me Sara Josephine, if she so chooses.)

Also, I realise size was an issue with this image but you cut off the charming albeit still incongruous wind-chime and stand. I have cropped the original image just in case someone would like to cut it out and include it in their submission.

What is the bizarre shape under the tree that looks looks like a crouching chimpanzee?

Jeremy Clarkson is in the s..t so this seemed like a good location. Let’s hope the bluebird brings some happiness.

That was my idea too, well I might just do it anyway.

Re: Challenge 548: The bench and the birdbath
I changed my original idea because Ben and Vibeke both did something similar to my original thinking. Now I find, now my next idea is finished, James has done something similar too.

Oh well .......... too bad ......... here's my bit of post apocalyptic nonsense anyway.

I thought the bench would be ideal for sitting to look over the beautiful Dunstable Downs. The shadows were very hard to do and still don't look right! - And the bench is facing the wrong way for the light!
