Challenge 551: The wedding suit
While strolling around the back streets of Marseille I came across a shop selling exotic clothing specifically for weddings. Seated at the front, in the window, was this mannequin wearing a rather bizarre white confection that struck me as particularly unattractive.

Are there any circumstances in which it would be acceptable to wear such a costume?

High res is here.

Is it a young Alec Guiness?

Wedding rentals are a bit like seaside architecture. Seam to bring out the worst .......

"Saturday Night Fever" was from 1978. (Am I dating myself for knowing this?) but the cheerleader looks like she's from the 50's. The cheerleaders, at least in the U.S., were wearing much shorter skirts. I like the shoes though. I have a similar pair from a U.K. company called Hotter. Those straps really help keep them on my feet when dancing and I suppose jumping up and down as well.

And keeping with the pop music theme (sort of) ... "Heaven ...must be missing an angel..."

Well Ant beat me to a similar idea. But I'm damned if I'm going back to the drawing board!

Problem is in my case the suit is too sober!!!

Quite right Strawland, I was mixing up my Grease up with my Saturday night fever. In my defence, it was a long time ago. Sorry but the shoes have had to go.

Feel free to call me Sara.

Now that's more period even if the shoes didn't get to come along. I had shoes like these as well and they did not stay on while dancing. Suddenly I feel old.

Unfortunately, I've got lots to do next week and I should have been working on my HTML5 Lessons now instead of this.

If Josephine's entry was an angel (which btw, I loved, Josephine), then this one must be a demon straight from hell.

Ha Ha! I thought this was very funny, but the woman looks a little cross standing there all gloved up and ready to clean. Looks like Mr. Clean beat her to it.
