Challenge 661: It's all mine
I encountered this converted mine on the promenade overlooking the pier at Southwold, on the east coast of England (home, incidentally, of Tim Hunkin's magnificent alternative amusement arcade).

Can you put this wartime relic back into active service?

High res is here.

All I know about WW2 mines is that they were round with knobs on. No pretence at naval accuracy or authenticity is made here.

This proved much harder than I expected ..............

When converting to a GIF file where there is a lot of blue/cyan and red, you must remember to knock those two colours right down, and in spite of my best efforts the mine is still a reddish brown where in fact it should reflect the surrounding hue of the background.

Interesting banner Linda. Also known as

"Baa baa black sheep, have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full!"

That has to be the fastest ocean liner I have ever seen.

But very nicely done!
