Challenge 762: Cat among the pigeons
Two more images from the Cambridge Museum of Zoology this week - a rather fine diorama displaying some seagulls, and a stuffed ocelot. Can you make a single display from these two exhibits? High res are here and here.   |

I was chatting with Anna a few days ago and mentioned how, sometimes, I just sit and stare at the starting image and wonder where the heck I am going to go with this ... and somehow something happens. I am minded of an exchange with Deborah some years ago when she asked me ‘where DO you get your ideas from?’ . My answer was ‘during my drive to work, or whilst out for a walk with the dog’. The only difference these days is that I am retired so I no longer have that option. But my dog contributes mightily to HTCIP.

Alfred Kastner stuffed the animated ocelot in 1934, so I've avoided yet another moth-eaten mangy bad taxidermy job.
