Challenge 765: Lark in the Park
I was in Mildenhall last weekend and visited Lark in the Park, an annual summer celebration that includes stalls from local clubs and societies, as well as displays of Morris dancing, bagpipe teams and other rural pastimes. The event is situated in a park on the banks of the River Lark, which runs through the town. Seen here, in the distance, is the preparation the dog show, entertainingly billed as Bark in the Park. What other rhyming puns might give rise to further events? The field is yours. Loyd, can I ask you to try to rein in your lightning-fast creativity and don't grab all the best puns in the first hour! High res is here. ![]() |

Sorry, I think I must have misunderstood the pun in my first entry, so here is a “Lark on a Shark in a Dark Park”. I’ll get my coat… ![]() ![]() |

Narc in the Park - Episode 2
Steve is never going to trust me again ...... but it's a just a new episode of my previous pun so I'm not using up any more puns. I am sorry but this just sprang into my head from nowhere a moment ago and I couldn't resist. I just knew that Giles was up to no good the minute I saw him in the helicopter with Largo .......... ![]() _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Ben. Nice to see a couplet that doesn't use Park as its base. Opens things up. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

"Dogs in the Bogs"? Eeeee! (For the enlightenment of our overseas friends "bogs" is a British slang word for toilets) |
