Challenge 844: Let's go swimming
Summer is on the distant horizon, and it's time to think about getting the pool ready. I think it could do with a little tidying up.

High res is here.

What Mariner said -
I take it that moose would like to go for a dip

Re: Challenge 844: Let's go swimming
This, in its way, is a most unusual challenge. Usually challenges require the alteration or adaptation of an existing image. This one would seem to require that most of it be completely replaced!

I think we may not see much of the original left in this weeks entries. I am very curious to see what you all come up with.

No moose but plenty penguins - who knows what crazy weather we will get with climate change?

Well the Caplins went ahead with the architects proposal and had it built.

Mr Caplin awaits the arrival of his wife so they can swim together in their new pool.

Sorry for shooting your theory down David
I like both your entries - looks like Pixelsquid objects in the latter? I used some in mine.
Yours makes me feel right at home Josephine - it's about that cold here right now that i expect to see penguins shortly. Well done.
Thanks Vibeke

I like both your images, David, especially the first one. Its clean lines and command of perspective appeal to me.

It's all 3D modelled in a matched perspective to the photo.

Emperor penguins are about 6 foot tall - but yes - the couple skating dont bear too close examination either - it was a case of scarificing perspective to composition!

Yes - for inspiration all I had to do was look out the window - it is absolute brass monkeys here too

Emperor Penguins even, nice one Josephine!

Speaking of climate change, it's 5°F with a -16°F chill factor here this morning with heavy snow. Wind chill tomorrow is predicted to be -30°F. Way beyond normal for Oklahoma.

"Is it ready yet...?" Good one Frank, I really like this!

Thanks vibeke, jump right in...!

Very nice David, both work well!
