Challenge 891: Digital monks
I've just dug out this email from DavidMac, sent to me nearly a year ago:

In a huge electronics mall in Kuala Lumpur I came across these two slightly unexpected customers. What might they be buying? They seem to be looking at something next to a shelf of game controllers. Take them home to their monastery and set them up with their purchase?

High res is here.

How nice to see this again. I had completely forgotten that I had sent it to you!

The mall was totally mind boggling. Four huge floors of nothing but electronics and cameras and accessories. I have never seen it's like outside of Asia.

Wow. That's quick on the draw Ant. You've also rather pre-empted my thoughts.

Thought I’d better get in quick David before all the good ideas are used up

Re: Challenge 891: Digital monks
I have discovered that there is a limitation to this challenge in that there is probably not a lot you can use from the image except monks backs. Some degree of freedom may need to be practiced here.

Agree David so I took a somewhat "cheeky" approach to their new purchase.

This is just terrific Frank .... I really like it.

I do have a bit of a problem with the very bleached out end footage and the drone shadow in the same portion which in places is not very consistent with the image, but that's being a bit niggly.

I will try my hardest Michael.

Re: Challenge 891: Digital monks
Well I am finding my own challenge harder than I expected.

Here's my last effort. Busy week coming up. Believe it or not this does actually use the monks from my photo.

Seems they managed to get the last image's goodies back home to the monastery.

I really thought I had finished, but I woke up this morning with this silly thought in my head and, knowing Steve likes a good pun, just couldn't resist it! With apologies to the wonderful musician.
