Challenge 917: Jump in the pool
The weather in the UK has been scorching the past week, reaching record temperatures. Keeping cool has been a tricky problem. One solution might be to convert this pool table into more of a swimming pool table. But how might you go about it? High res versions courtesy of Wikipedia here. |

http://vimeo.com/732707939 I've kept an eye on the news and wow some of the temps have been through the roof. I must say, I did feel slightly envious though. At the moment it's 11c and bloody freezing! Good one Frank! Hope you're feeling better. ![]() _________________ Dorothy: Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore |

Nicely done Frank and Anna...! It's 37.8 here today and supposed to get hotter over the next week to ten days... right now I'm just glad that it has cooled down a bit from last weekend. |

My first thoughts were bags of ice etc. But when I read Anna's comments on her entry on the temperatures in Sydney and it's even colder here, I realised I needed a hot spa not a cold one. _________________ Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize. |

Thanks Gordon ,Vibeke ,Loyd. Good one's Anna, Vibeke - Love the gnomes David, glad they're back - cute. Temps in the low 30's here in Nova Scotia, feeling more like 40's with humidity. Thankfully have a heat pump. That damned Covid hanging on - day 11 now - feeling better but that cough lingers. Stay Safe ! |

Hi, I seem to be having sharpness problems uploading to the Friday Challenge. I am saving as follows – Export – save for web – Settings: Quality is 50, Non-Progressive, Optimized off, Format: JPEG Dimensions: 515w x 600h Size: 100.7K. Image just doesn’t look as sharp as other images on the page. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

Many of the other images are posted in higher resolutions on host sites such as Flickr and then linked to from here. This gets around the forum size limit and uses up less of Steve's webspace. Nice peaceful image Ben. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |
