					Challenge 1051: Inflatable wings
The Danish outlet Flying Tiger sells a vast and often surprising range of tastefully designed things you really don’t need. Browsing one of their stores recently, I came across this package of inflatable wings. Are they airworthy, do you think? High res, should it be of any use, is here. |

Steve, they must be great for a spectacular jump from the Eiffel Tower. |

Monsieur Reichelt, the famous winged Eiffel jumper, who I used just a few challenges back, sprang to my mind immediately. But I think, as far as I am concerned, I need to find something else this time. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

I do so love to see James' animations. I see, after last week's introduction to fursonas, you have appropriately found a 'furry'. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

I couldn't help thinking of a longhorn. I hope I don't carry on with this but my mind is bursting with ideas but it would most probably get me into trouble. ![]() _________________ The grass is greener on the other side of the fence because there is more $hit there. |

Longhorn .... clever. We have a branch of Flying Tiger just five minutes walk from our doorstep. Lovely shop. So .............. never let it be said that David Mac is afraid of the blindingly obvious. ![]() _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Although it's not declared as such I have a nasty feeling the tiger is AI. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Carnival! Well that fits!! You've prompted me to go and dig out my old LP of the music from "Black Orpheus". Listening to it now. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

The colours (ROYGBI) really give it away. They are the colours of the rainbow minus one (violet). You can memorize them easily "Red Ostrich Yelled Grumpily But In Vain" was the way I was taught. I don't know "Black Orpheus" but I've heard "Green Maharishi" by Fleetwood Mac. |

Thanks Mariner! They were a lot of fun to make. This one is not animated, but still a satisfying image for me... I call it "you're next".
