Challenge 1126: The Noddy car
I saw this child's fairground ride in France, where it appears Noddy is called Oui Oui (now there's name that would raise a snigger in England). Do they make an adult version, do you think? And if so what figure would be standing on the back? High res is here. |

Ha... Lots of real Fiat 500 Gamine Vignale pics (Noddy Car) with a Google search. btw- Your entry also was slow to load on both my iPad and PC. One line at a time as if with an old 'dial-up-modem'. That also makes me think that it is a hosting problem. |

Same here. Mariners last Nook entry took forever, a block at a time. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Not likely, it downloaded much like an old progressive image (made for slow dial-up connections). I still think it's the host's problem. |

Also, while in France, I was surprised to see the popularity of this little plastic car on the streets. It's kind of a cross between a Little Tikes toy car and one of Clive Sinclair’s C5’s. So of course, when I saw one in a showroom, I couldn’t help but try one out. Brand new, all in at about 8,000 euros. ![]() |

Re: Challenge 1126: The Noddy car
Ben I love your car! Is it of your own making from bits and pieces? I never saw anything as glamorous, or indeed remotely like it, in my researches. Shadows are great too. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

I think the French have always had a soft spot for motorised oddities. Remember the Citroën Deux Cheveaux? _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Fun stuff there David!
Mind you. my opinion is worth only what you had to pay for it, but shouldn't the Noddy car's shadow be more like the black car's shadow on the left? |

Re: Challenge 1126: The Noddy car
Thanks for that Ben. Very clever. It's a perfect job! Fully pimped but still completely from a kid's storybook. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Re: Challenge 1126: The Noddy car
To be honest the entry was more about fun than exemplary Photoshopping. I just removed the previous car and left the existing shadow.
