					Contest 108: The invisible man
Tank172 was browsing Yahoo news the other day when he came across this story about a potential invisiblity device. Wouldn't this make a great idea for a Friday Challenge, he suggested. Well, never one to pass up a great idea, I agree with him. So here's your challenge: show me an invisible man, in any context. Bear in mind, of course, that he probably wouldn't be completely invisible: if the light is bending around him, I imagine there would be some sort of distortion or other to show where he might be. No image to download this week - you're on your own. Speaking of which, I'm off on holiday for two weeks, during which time the forum will be left in the eminently capable hands of David Asch. He's got the next two Friday Challenges ready to go, and will post them next week and the week after. When I get back I'll do the usual write-ups of your entries. In the meantime, it's two weeks of no email, no web browsing, no Photoshop... how will I ever survive! Have a good summer Steve |

enjoy your holidays Steve. We all need to take a bit of a break away from the computer and work (play) and spend time with our families. We will miss you. _________________ Pauline |

meguyer, If I may, I believe Paul may have been refering to the glowing outline of the figure you posted, with this in mind Ready Brek is an oat-based breakfast cereal produced by Weetabix Limited. Ready Brek had the slogan Central heating for kids and Get up and Glow, and TV adverts during the 1970s and 1980s showed children walking to school with a dramatic radiant glow. |
