Contest 109: The doors of perception
The title, as I'm sure you know, is from a book by Aldous Huxley, and preceded his later Heaven and Hell. This is a rather grand doorway I photographed recently. I'm sure it would be a tremendous addition to any building - but where would it work best?

High res is here.

Thanks, Neal.
I probably should of made the actual door(s) larger to be more in-line with the scale of the outhouse.

In the time honoured way of rehashing old challenges, here is my submission.

Re: Contest 109: The doors of perception
this is mine. Lot of good ones so far. I will be taking a couple of weeks off from the Challenge as I am spending a week away from dentistry attending the New Mexico Photographic Field School for a workshop titled "The Landscape of New Mexico". I hope I end up with something special to share with all of you. Marty

Hello, I am new to this forum, and really enjoyed the book. As I am still trying to learn photoshop. I hope you don't mind if I join in on these challanges. Here is my first submission. Hope you enjoy.

Who hasn't paid their TV Licence? . This is my photo of the eye. I googled for the man and the ladder.

This is my first submission too. I changed the doors a bit and I would like to know how I could have maintained better perspective.

Nothing like a nice home fire I say, and don't those doors burn well...

Sophie,
Loved the "EYEdea". You could try the spherize filter or, better still, the warp filter found under Edit>Transform. Use the handles to move the image into position.

Re: Contest 109: The doors of perception
Sophie,
I should have mentioned that the warp filter is only in Photoshop CS2. Teeny-weeny comment - I would have had the ladder going off the edge of the frame to suggest that he had climbed all the way up to the capsule. At the moment it is just dangling there
