Well done Char, Eggbox, Wayne and James, brilliant stuff.

I find this second challenge really hard (I haven't found time to do the book yet so perhaps I should do that first).

Rushing to try and finish for this week. I very much enjoyed all the entries.

Forgot to ask. Where do you all get your models/people etc from? Can I use the ones that came with the book?

The photos that come with the book are free for you to use in any projects you like. For posting here, people tend to rely on Google Images!

Re: Contest 110: Insufferable institutions
Thanks Sophie. The characters I used in this challenge came from a brilliant book called 500 Model Poses and is published by Ilex in Lewes, East Sussex. UK The ISBN number is 1-904705-53-7 It costs about £25. It is a thick book with all the characters and a CD with the images and their masks.

As Steve suggests a good source is Google Images but I do look through the book first.

I can't see where you are from but I can give you their phone number in the UK if you wish.

Ted

Thanks ever so much Ted, I can probably get it from good old Amazon. I live just across the border in west Kent. If not, I now know who to ask.

Hello Johanna my friend,

You asked earlier if we could do more than one entry per week. Of course it's not really for me to say as I am a new girl like you. But I looked this up under 'Welcome to the forum' notes and Steve has asked that we try and concentrate all our efforts on one masterpiece each week.

As you can see from previous challenges, there is heaps of creative energy and talent on this great site. Hard to resist but alot to comment on.

Well, Sophie and Johanna (welcome to the forum both of you, btw), the above is true, but since it was written things have changed and you often see two entries from one person. And on some (rare) occasions a person might take the liberty of entering a third picture.

About my own entry this week I find there's very little you can do about institutions and there's nothing funny about the situation these people are in, some kind of Kafka situation I would say and they have reached the point of no return.

Ever since they installed "black lights" instead of the ordinary kind, "service with a smile" took on a whole new meaning...
