Contest 138: Make me a statue
There's a plinth in London's Trafalgar Square that was empty for 164 years. No-one could decide what to put on it. Then it was announced that it would hold a series of works by contemporary artists: at present, it features an amazing statue by Marc Quinn. That's being taken down this year. Any suggestions for a replacement work of art? It's a tricky perspective! High res is here. ![]() |

Re: Finnish the job. No submission from yours truly, simply because I have been unable to access the site, indications being that the site was down. Have others experienced difficulty, or do I have a problem. The site became accessible around noon today. Thank you David & Steve for your responce. With eyes wide open , we don't allways see. Michael. Thank's for the tip, it has been bugging me a little.(It works fine) I see you have the Midas touch, your horse must be an Andalusian or Lippizaner. Nice. |

Yes, a lot of people had the same problem - really sorry, I didn't know it was happening. We'll keep an eye out for it in future. If you'd like to enter last week's Challenge, you have another week to do so! |

I know this is in London, but this was a world effecting event. So here's my tribute to the world trade center twin towers in New York!! ![]() _________________ "I haven't failed.... I've found 10,000 ways that don't work!" Thomas Edison |
