Challenge 306: Wind up the window
Here I am sitting in my car. I took the photo with my iPhone, and my arm is a little blown out - which may be fixable. As you can see, the car window is open. How would the photo have looked if it were closed? The reflection in the rear window should give you a clue. But what other reflections would come into play? At the end of the week, I'll post a photo taken with the window closed, for comparison. And if you feel like placing my car in a more glamorous location, feel free. High res is here. ![]() |

I took a quick shot at it. It'll be interesting to see the real thing. ![]() _________________ Lonnie |

Wow. Great attention to detail. I would have forgotten to make the window look closed in the mirror ![]() |

Re: Challenge 306: Wind up the window
I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about how strong the sunlight is on the dash, and how it would make the window a mirror. I'm posting a second guess. For truth, it's probably more accurate; for a more interesting image, I'll go for the first one. ![]() _________________ The journey of a thousand hours begins with a single layer. |

Re: Challenge 306: Wind up the window
I think you could be right Bruce. I played around with the opacity of the reflection and opted for what I posted. Let's see. So I'm not the only one who wakes up thinking about these things! Nick |

Re: Challenge 306: Wind up the window
Some excellent entries so far. I sat in my car today to see what it looked like...not sure if Ive been able to replicate it though. Steve was totally oblivious to the road rage and frustration he was causing other motorists when he discovered a new set of radio stations playing classic Aussie rock! Not even a rock through the window could move him. http://www.vimeo.com/12888145 ![]() _________________ Wicked Witch of the West: I'm melting! I'm melting! |
