Challenge 534: Light-up Tetris
I was given this rather fine Tetris-inspired lamp for my birthday a few weeks ago. Each block is a separate piece, but when you pile them up each one makes contact with the one below and they all light up. Of course, the whole thing looks a lot better when it's plugged in. Can you oblige? Next Friday I'll post my photograph of the real thing, so you can compare. High res is here.

How fascinating. I assume the sides of the blocks show the illumination as well? |

Yes, the lights are inside so the effect is seen all round. |

In January 2008 for Contest 181: A speedy recovery (they were called contests then) I posted the following in response to the challenge of designing a get well card in Photoshop for Steve when he was unwell in hospital. "Tetris has given me many many hours of problem solving and is so much fun; just like the HTCIP Friday Challenge in fact.
